Kale Chips
Ingredients
1 bunch kale
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
Directions
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F . Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
2. With a knife or hand, remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner or leave out on a piece of paper towel.. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 12 minutes. Test: when you shake the tray and you hear shshshshshshsh-ing sound, it’s done.
It is said that 1 serving (about 1 cups) is only 38 calories. Just be light on the oil.
If you want a bolder taste, try nutritional yeast instead of salt.
