8 leaves of filo dough
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Honey and powdered sugar for decoration
Preheat the oven at 350F.
Start by laying down on a flat surface one leaf of filo dough. With a kitchen brush, gently brush the leaf and add one on top of it. Repeat the process until you have 4 layers.
Place the banana lengthwise on one edge of the filo dough sheet and spread peanut butter and then sprinkle some cinnamon.
Start rolling. When the banana is completely rolled in dough, brush the outside with a bit of oil and place it on a baking sheet.
Repeat the process with the other 4 sheets.
Bake for 15 minutes or so, until the outside is golden crisp.
Serve hot by cutting the roll in two and placing it on a plate. Drizzle some honey and sprinkle powdered sugar. You can use chocolate syrup instead.
